Lightboxes originated from a time when I had my studio and gallery in Brunswick, Maine. My dear friend and artist, Richard Miller was the inspiration for the creation of a series of people I did. The people lighboxes can be seen on my gallery page, they are not for sale but are used for my continued inspiration and memories of Richard, who is no longer with us.
Each lightbox incorporates the Louis Comfort Tiffany technique of copper-foiling in construction. I create these unique scenes framed in glass with nature or people as my inspiration. The light boxes are lit within using small lights that make the twinkling affect of shadow and light play. Each box can contain up to hundreds of pieces of hand cut glass and are placed on a wooden display base. These boxes make exquisite "night lights" and enhance any corner of your room.
Shipping: I ship to anywhere in the US and Canada by USPS or UPS. Each piece is wrapped securely to travel and insured for value.
