Avery Pierce

Avery is a passionate bead addict who gets behind her torch every chance she gets!  In her Bunting Hill Studio she creates her own hand-formed Flamework Glass Beads.  Inspirations come from the colors and texture in the natural world, a textile or an old clay vessel from a vanished era.

The multimedia designs that feature her glass beads are accented and supported by the finest materials; Swarovski Crystals, glazed ceramic pieces, natural and semi-reciou stones, Italian leather, pearls, etc... These are all combined with Argentium Sterling Silver, Regular Sterling Silver, 14k Gold-filled and Niobium wire in her own looping, swirling fun shapes and designs.

Avery's Flamework Glass beads are formed in an oxygen/propane torch using Moretti/Effetre, Lauscha, Bullseye, system 96, CIM, and Vetrofond Glass on assorted steel mandrels.  All beads are fully annealed in a digitally controlled kiln.
