Proudly Representing Maine Artists
Heron Point Gallery came about through my friendship with Arlene Morris, a Brunswick, Maine artist who was leaving her spacious 2nd floor studio on Maine Street.  Initially thought of as a working studio for my glass work, I set out to use the space to sneak away for serious solo time for creative production.  But, over time, and with my interest in giving artists space to show their work, Heron Point Studio became Heron Point Gallery.  Since Portland had their First Friday Art Walks, I started Brunswick's Second Friday Art Walks and for 4 years held numerous shows of up and coming Maine artists.

A lot has happened since those days in Brunswick.  The Gallery has made a new home in Portland, ME in the heart of Portland's Old Port District.  We are now located in an historical building on the corner of Middle and Market Streets.

We show the jewelry work of Daniel Dostie of Harpswell, Maine.  Whether it's gold jewelry, silver jewelry, Maine gems, appraisals, repairs, redesigns, Dan will work with you to create original and unique lasting heirlooms.  Dostie Jewelers has been a mainstay in Lewiston since his father started the business in the 1940's.

Bonnie Faulkner works in glass.  Her fused glass creations range from small pieces such as fused glass jewelry to larger pieces such as slumped platters, gall wall art, tabletop glass art and more. Bonnie uses many types of glass in her work, all compatible for fusing.  Dichroic glass is something you need to see in person.  Inspirations come from her studio nestled along the Cousin's River in Yarmouth, ME.

Stephen Lanzalotta is a painter.  He paints in his Portland, Maine studio.  Stephen's work is in several collections across the United States.  As a painter, he seeks to include his worlds of wood and bread; painting on compostion wood panels exclusively with broad knives used by carpenters, masons and bakers alike.

Avery Pierce works with lampwork glass in her Buxton, ME studio at Bunting Hill.  She creates gorgeous swirls of multi-colored glass into simply divine earrings and necklaces.  Avery can be found knee deep in work in her many mountain-side gardens where she continually absorbs natures inspiration.

As always we are proud to show and sell the work of our fine local Maine artisans such as Sandi Donnelly, Nicholas Downing, Lonie Ellis, Abigail Hinds-Aldrich.  Please come by and see our work! Oil Paintings, gold jewelry, fused glass jewelry, pottery, silver jewelry and more!
