Heron Point Gallery is easy to find. We are located in the heart of Portland's Old Port District, the where
you'll find a thriving arts community along with wonderful shopping and
dining experiences...nestled along the outdoor portico behind White Cap
Grille on the corner of 164 Middle and Market Street. The ramp beside
White Cap Grille will lead you to our door.
We are one of
those surprise finds as we are off the beaten path-yet an easy walk from
many Portland landmarks such as the active waterfront where dozens of
cruise ships berth during warmer months, Portland Museum of Art, the
historic Regency Hotel and the Portland Observatory.
We show the jewelry work of Daniel Dostie of Harpswell, Maine. Whether it's gold, silver, Maine gems, appraisals, repairs, redesigns, Dan will work with you to create original and unique lasting heirlooms. Dostie Jewelers has been a mainstay in Lewiston since Dan's father started the business in the 1940's.
Bonnie
Faulkner works in glass. Her fused glass art range from small
pieces such as fused jewelry to larger pieces such as slumped
platters, wall art, tabletop glass art and more. Bonnie uses many
types of glass in her work, all compatible for fusing. Dichroic glass
is something you need to see in person. Inspirations come from her studio nestled along the Cousin's River in Yarmouth, ME. Bonnie's glass art is in collections in England, Sweden and the United States.
Stephen Lanzalotta is a painter and baker. He
paints in his Portland, Maine studio. Stephen's work is in several
collections across the United States. As a painter, he seeks to include
his worlds of wood and bread; painting
on compostion wood panels exclusively with broad knives used by
carpenters, masons and bakers alike. Stephen's oil paintings are in collections all over the United States. Local collectors visit our gallery often to see what new oil paintings Stephen has created to grace their walls.
As always we are proud to show and sell the work of our fine local Maine artisans such as Anne Bernard, Sandi Donnelly, Nicholas Downing, Lonie Ellis, Avery Pierce and Carrie Bracker.
Artfully,
Bonnie Faulkner, Artist/Owner
